Member Spotlight - CMC Lawn & Tree LLC
CMC Lawn & Tree LLC is owned and operated by Christopher McCabe. His Back Mountain business opened in 2021. When asked what inspired him to start his business, Chris shared, “My grandfather Wilber Gantz, owner of Dallas Tree and Shrub Preservation was my inspiration for starting CMC Lawn & Tree. He was an arborist in the Back Mountain for a long time. I now have the privilege of working out of the same barn that he did. There are so many memories that live inside those walls. My grandfather taught me everything I know about trees and inspired me to build my business here helping community members to beautify their homes”.
Chris loves everything about doing business locally. “I really enjoy working in the community that I live in. I like the fact that I can have an impact in my own community. Owning a business here allows me to connect with my neighbors and help them out in their time of need. It gives me a tremendous amount of pride driving by a home that I have helped restore back to its original state. There is no better feeling than seeing my customers happy with the job that we have completed for them.”
Chris joined the Back Mountain Chamber because, “in the business world it’s all about making connections with others. What better way to make connections here then becoming a part of The Chamber? The Chamber will give me access to some very valuable resources within the Back Mountain community and allow me to connect with other business owners that I may have not had the opportunity to meet otherwise. Though our community is fairly small, there are so many people that I don’t know and looking forward to building lasting relationships with.”
