5K Run&Walk

The Friedman Jewish Community Center and NEPA Racing are excited to announce the kickoff of the Friedman JCC 5K Series with our Summer 5K Run/Walk on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 6:00 PM in Kingston. Proceeds from the race will benefit JCC Summer Camp programming and scholarships, helping provide local children with memorable summer experiences in a safe, active, and welcoming environment. The race is taking place during NEPA Gives, a 24-hour online giving event that brings the community together to support local nonprofits across Northeastern Pennsylvania. Following the race, participants and community members are invited to stay for a NEPA Gives celebration featuring awards, music, and community fun. The race will begin and end at the Sidney and Pauline Friedman Jewish Community Center, located at 613 S J Strauss Lane, Kingston, PA 18704. Participants will travel from the JCC through Kingston and along the levee into Kirby Park before returning to the JCC finish line. Event Information: • Friday, June 5, 2026 • Race Start: 6:00 PM • Packet Pickup Begins: 4:30 PM at the JCC • Early Registration: $30 • Registration after May 29 through race day: $35.50 • Day-of registration available until 5:30 PM Participants who complete all three races in the Friedman JCC 5K Series (June 5, September 19, and November 26) will receive exclusive awards, swag, and bragging rights.
