Back Mountain Trick or Treat at Luzerne County Fairgrounds

Dear Community member,

We are excited to announce Back Mountain Trick or Treat at the Luzerne County Fairgrounds on October 31 st , 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m.

With all the chaos in the world today we as parents, community members and volunteers are looking to provide a safe, controlled and fun Halloween experience for both children and residents. With this event the fairgrounds will provide ample parking, a safe place to walk around and collect treats as well as safety for our community members to handout candy without worrying about a possible home invasion. The fairgrounds will simulate a neighborhood and kids will walk the Fairground streets to collect candy. We will have benches and areas for our community members to setup. At the end of the neighborhood there will be a DJ, cider and a dance party to end the night. We will have a surprise event for older kids as well.

We will be inviting Dallas and Lake-Lehman Schools and communities to this event.

The event is FREE and we are running on candy and cash donations to make this great event possible.

Our numbers could exceed 2,000 kids with the local elementary schools alone!

Please consider a donation or a stand at our safety event, without generous donors like you this will not be possible!
