Over the course of the past 18 years, I have held numerous positions in the pest control industry, starting as a technician and working my way up to Director of Operations. In 2018 I took a step away from the frontline pest control industry and took a position as Manufacturer’s Representative with a territory from Maine to Virginia. After a very short while I realized that I missed being involved with the day-to-day operations of a pest control company, and I also missed my family since I was spending 4 to 5 nights a week in hotels all over New England and the Mid-Atlantic area. In 2019 I, along with my business partner, decided to create Procor Pest Control. I am thrilled to be back on the frontlines and building a business based on great customer service.
Since we began in 2019, basically out of a storage closet and a home office, we have grown rapidly. We now have offices in Wyoming, Allentown, and Lancaster. Our Wyoming office, right across from the Midway Shopping Center, is now home to our DIY Pest Control Store as well. As a near lifelong resident of the Back Mountain, having offices in other areas has only reinforced what I already knew to be true. The people in the Back Mountain are what make it so special and such a great place to live and work. We deal with customers every day from all over the Commonwealth, and without question, the conversations and truthfully, the relationships we have with our customers from this area and the best and most rewarding.
We support and sponsor teams and organizations throughout the Back Mountain, such as Back Mountain Little League, Back Mountain Dance Studio, The Dallas Lions Club and School teams as well. So it dawned on us that we should be supporting other Back Mountain businesses too, which is why we decided to join the Chamber.
